Early Childhood program serves children ages 6 months to 5 years of age who have a parent or guardian enrolled in adult classes. All children will learn age-appropriate developmental skills, with an emphasis put on helping the older children prepare for their entrance into formal education.
Family Literacy is taught during our Adult and Early Childhood classrooms.
The early childhood program has evolved into a four-component family literacy program. The four components are: adult English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction, early childhood instruction, parenting instruction and Parent and Child Together (PACT) time. Our family literacy program strives to aide parents with essential parenting and communication skills.
